Yemanjá is one of the most venerated orixás in Afro-Brazilian Cultures known as the Mother of the Waters or the Queen of the Sea. Because of her strong symbolic ties to the waters a liminal space between human life and nature, between visible and invisible the day of February 2nd is dedicated to all that she carries in her powerful spiritual essence.

• Cultural Immersion: Evening walking tour through Pelourinho — colonial architecture, drum echoes, Bahian heartbeat.
